I have been teaching fitness classes for many years.   I have met some wonderful friends in my job and also watched as friendships are created in the classes.  Fitness classes are not only beneficial for your fitness levels, but mental health is also improved.  An hour of fun, dancing, singing, stretching is a must!

 

I teach the following fitness programs:

​

KONGA (The Jungle Body) is an easy to follow fitness program focusing on calorie burning and toning various areas of the body, there is a mix of basic dance, cardio, boxing, kickboxing, core, ballet, butts, legs, arms, stretching. An all over body workout to amazing music.

​

GetLow (The Jungle Body) is a low impact version of KONGA.  Suitable for the mature generation, anyone recovering from injury/illness and want to rebuild fitness levels.  This class is so much fun, the music is uplifting.

​

ZUMBA fitness - a fitness program that combines latin and international music, alternating fast and slow rhythms. Therefore this is calorie burning and toning at the same time.

​

ZUMBA GOLD - is suitable for mature adults or anyone looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original Zumba moves we all love at a lower intensity.  We also use light weight toning sticks (optional) to increase muscle strength.

​

DANCEFIT - is a dance fitness fusion class incorporating cha cha, salsa, jive etc.   Suitable for all levels of fitness.  If you are a Strictly Come Dancing fan, this is a class for you.  

​

FITNESS PILATES - is aimed at identifying basic postural and movement imbalances.  Fitness Pilates will increase muscular imbalance & strength, improve clients posture, improve core strength, improve mental cognition.

​

All the above are fantastic, fun classes. They each offer a different style of a work out, depending on what you prefer and enjoy. There are always low and high options, therefore they are suitable for all levels of fitness.

I am fully trained and certified to teach the above fitness programs. I also have a level 2 ETM (Exercise to music) City & Guilds qualification, First aid certificate, public liability insurance and CRB checked.
